Property Description
The "Casa Sindical" union house is part of the "Finca Las Cañitas" in El Tanque, built in the early 18th century. Casa Sindical served as a bodega for the finca's former winery. The finca in the north of Tenerife has been lovingly restored and is licensed for tourist rental as a "Casa Rural."
A dream vacation can come true on the approximately 1,800 m² property with two separate finca houses, the "Casa Sindical," and outbuildings. The area is surrounded by a rustic wall and is virtually invisible. Various seating areas in the manicured garden with endemic plants and trees offer the opportunity to retreat. The property, with views of Mount Teide and the sea, is complemented by a pool with a sunbathing area. Here, you can escape the stresses of modern life and enjoy the tranquility of authentic Tenerife.
The finca is located in El Tanque, a small community on the edge of the Teno Nature Park in northwest Tenerife, at an altitude of approximately 550 meters. The Teno Nature Park is considered one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Tenerife.
Facilities
The finca's driveway leads to a courtyard and the rustic bodega "Casa Sindical," the former trade union building.
Directly from the entrance is the living area with a couch and satellite TV. To the left is the new bathroom with a shower, vanity, and toilet. The functional open-plan kitchen adjoins the living area and features an electric stove with a ceramic hob, an oven, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The small dining area is integrated into the living area.
At the rear is the sleeping area with a double bed and a daybed.
This rustic little holiday home has a private outdoor terrace.
The annex has a washing machine and dryer (for a fee) and an iron. Bed linens and towels are provided.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
The property is equipped with air conditioning (with heating).
Restaurants and shops nearby
Restaurants, pizzerias, and shops (including a supermarket), a pharmacy, a hairdresser, etc., are within walking distance.
The coast of Icod de los Vinos or Garachico can be reached in about 15 minutes. Thanks to the new expressway, Puerto de la Cruz is also quickly accessible. Tenerife South Airport can be reached in just 50 minutes, and the beaches in the south in about 30 minutes.
