Object description
The blue house, "Casa Azul", is part of the "Finca Las Cañitas" in El Tanque, built in the early 18th century. The finca in the north of Tenerife has been restored with great attention to detail and has a license for tourist rental as "Casa Rural". As part of the historical heritage of the Canary Islands, the property is allowed to bear this emblem.
A holiday dream can be fulfilled on the approximately 1,800 m² property with two separate finca houses and outbuildings. The area is surrounded by a rustic wall and is almost invisible. In the well-tended garden area with endemic plants and trees, various seating options offer the opportunity to withdraw. The property is rounded off with a view of the Teide and the Atlantic Sea by a pool with a sunbathing area. Here you can escape the modern stress and enjoy the tranquility in original Tenerife.
Furnishing
A rustic terrace with a view of the Teide leads to the blue house, the Casa Azul. To the left of the entrance is a covered seating area with a dining table. The entrance to the house is also located here. You will be welcomed inside by a large rustic kitchen-cum-living room, which is connected to the living area with fireplace and sitting area including sofa bed (for 2 people). The functional kitchen has a gas stove with four burners, an oven and a fridge with freezer compartment.
A small hallway leads to the spacious bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed) with a sitting area. The bathroom next door has a shower, toilet, bidet, vanity and daylight window. A skylight window lets additional light into the room.
In the outbuilding there is a washing machine, dryer and iron. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The finca is located in El Tanque, a village in the "Teno Mountains" in the north-west of Tenerife at an altitude of approx. 500 meters. Restaurants, pizzerias and shops (including a supermarket), pharmacy, hairdresser etc. are within walking distance on site.
The surrounding area is a green and blooming area, where mainly agriculture is practiced. The area around El Tanque is a true paradise for hikers, as numerous lonely paths lead through the aromatic, fragrant forests.
The coast of Icod de los Vinos or Garachico can be reached in around a quarter of an hour. Thanks to the new motorway, you can also get to Puerto de la Cruz quickly. Tenerife South Airport can be reached in just 50 minutes, the beaches in the south in around 30 minutes.
